One short story.

My mother explains to my fiance last night about how clumsy I am, I couldn’t neglect that fact, this dress from Monika Jufry has it’s own story. 

It was about 4 days before the engagement day I was searching for a dress to wear, then 2 days before the engagement I started to panic, I got no dress to wear for 21st April 2013, lucky I got Monika Jufry’s number to ask about dresses, the she invited me to her store, I was planning to borrowed one of her dress, I’m thinking it’s a one time use kind of dress, and I can’t afford it, so there was these two dresses, I tried them on, and we finally picked this one, it was… beautiful, the handmade embroidery design amazed me, such a neat work, it requires patience & passion to do this, when I tried this on the boutique, I can’t take it off.

Monika Jury is a good friend of mine I called her mba Monik, she’s one of the top list of talented muslim fashion designer in Indonesia, and I had a pure shocking breathtaking moment when she lend me the dress and said “it’s for you, my wedding gift for you Ashfi” nooooooo kiddingggg I was maawawawaw, too happy to have this Mashaallah, Subhanallah, I just can’t.., it was.., oh my. 

I got not only a dress from a patience & passionate crafter, but also a sincere designer, oh what have I done to accept this.
